Flowers are pretty but they wither as fast as they blossom. The promises of God never die, they are given by our Almighty God who loves and cares for His own. A special promise is printed on this card to encourage all who are labouring for the Lord in their various callings.

"Consider The Lilies"
For any who feel worried about God's provision, fear not but "consider the lilies" (Matthew 6:28)! Solomon the king of Israel was arrayed with one of the finest of apparels men can ever offer, yet God's promise is that He is able to make the simplest of flowers look more glorious than anything else. May the thought of such precious promises encourage the worried soul to look beyond the physical needs but to look to our Almighty Heavenly Father!

"Bringeth Forth Much Fruit"
The fear of every farmer is to not have any fruits for harvest time. The amount of time, energy and resources used to cultivate the plants may cause us to wrongly think that we control the outcome. The fact is that He is the one who controls the amount of fruit that is borne by the tree. God decides when and how much fruit there will be, but the assurance is that we shall bring forth much fruit only if we abide in Christ for our all.

"She Seeketh Wool And Flax"
Hard work is always required when seeking to fulfilling the calling of God. On certain days we may feel more resistance to do what we know is needed. Here is a promise, in that God will enable those who serve Him to be able to "seek wool and flax" and have the strength to "work willingly with her hands" (Prov 31:13). The willingness to labour hard for the Lord is not something that comes from within ourselves, but is a grace that God gives to all who follow and obey His call. May this card be an encouragement to press on for the Lord and holding firmly on His promises each day.
